Pa r t n e r s i n F u n d i n g M i s s i o n p r e s b y t e r i a n f o u n d a t i o n .o r g GOD ISN'T FINISHED NEITHER ARE WE Norwood Park and St. Andrews Presbyterian churches in Chicago were dwindling congregations. But they had faith that God wasn't done with them yet. Each sold their properties and merged to become Friendship Presbyterian Church. The Presbyterian Foundation was there for each church, every step of the way. Nearly a decade later, the newly formed congregation is thriving. "When I came to Friendship, I was overwhelmed by their sense of openness, by their excitement and energy," says Rev. Shawna Bowman. "They made a concerted effort to get to know one another and to deal with the hard realities of 'How do we be relevant and what does the community need from us?'." If you believe that God may have a new chapter in store for your congregation – one that may flow from the sale of property – the Presbyterian Foundation is here to help. Give us a call, and let us walk alongside you on the journey. Paul Grier Vice President Project Regeneration 800.843.9547
